K-os in Kathmandu/ Nepal

I've been to some pretty chaotic cities in the world (Bangkok, Nairobi, Quito) but I have to say, my first day in Kathmandu was a big culture shock. Leanne and I were completely exhausted from all the flights and our ride from the airport to our guest house was - well let's say "a memorable ride". Crazy traffic, shanty towns, people eating from piles of garbage in the streets, street children banging on our taxi, cows everywhere, drug addicts smoking up in alleyways, deafening horns, suffocating pollution - complete and utter overstimulation!

As soon as we became aclimatized to the chaos, Leanne and I fell in love with the city (hard to believe but true).
