Wedding Crasher

The night before seeing the Taj Mahal, I crashed a Hindu wedding that was taking place in the street outside my hotel in Agra. There were many colourful lights, a brass band and a very loud sound system escorting the groom and his family to the location where the bride was waiting. The groom sat on an ornately decorated white horse and was wearing a necklace of rupee bills.

The family welcomed me into the festivities and the professional photographer captured a great shot of me embracing some members of the family. I showed off a few of my Indian dance moves and took some of my own photos and video footage of the event. Good times!
